How to request the deletion of your data

Governing language. The
Spanish version of this page (Eliminación de datos)
is the governing version. This English version is a courtesy
translation; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Spanish
version prevails. See also the Privacy Policy
and the Terms of Service.
This page explains how to ask for the deletion of personal data processed
through Micrxn: the data of your user account
—including the basic profile data received when you sign in with Google
or Microsoft—, the data of your organization, and the data that comes
from WhatsApp conversations or other messaging channels.
Important: deletion is requested by email and is handled
manually by our support team. The application does not for now offer a
self-service button to delete the account or the organization, or to
export your data.
Depending on your case
-
You have a user account on Micrxn. Micrxn is the data
controller of your account data and handles your request directly. If
you are the sole administrator of an organization, tell us what you
wish to do with it.
-
You administer an organization and want to delete it.
The request must be sent by an administrator of the organization. It
covers the data that the organization uploaded to the platform; if you
need a copy before deletion, ask for it in the same email.
-
You wrote to a company that uses Micrxn, or you are its
customer, contact, supplier or collaborator. That company is
the data controller of your data and we act on its behalf. You may
address your request to either of the two: if you write to us, we will
route it to that company and inform you.
See the Privacy Policy for the details of each
case.
How to request it
Send an email to
soporte@micrxn.com with the
subject line "Data deletion"
("Eliminación de datos") and include:
- Your name and a means of communicating the response to you.
-
The email address associated with your account or, if
you communicated over a messaging channel, the telephone
number you used (with country code), so that we can locate
your data.
-
The name of the organization or company concerned, if
you know it.
-
A document evidencing your identity or, where applicable, legal
representation.
We ask for proof of identity precisely in order to protect your data: it
prevents a third party from requesting the deletion of information that
does not belong to them. If possible, write to us from the same email
address as your account.
If you signed in with Google or Microsoft
In addition to asking us for deletion, you may at any time remove the
access you granted to Micrxn from your Google account
(myaccount.google.com/permissions)
or Microsoft account (personal accounts:
account.live.com/consent/Manage;
work or school accounts:
myapplications.microsoft.com).
Removing access prevents new sign-ins with that provider, but
does not by itself delete the data already stored in
Micrxn (account identifier, email address, name and profile picture): for
that, the request described on this page is necessary. Micrxn does not
retain the access tokens from that sign-in.
What happens next
- We will confirm receipt of your request.
-
We will communicate the decision adopted to you within a maximum of
20 business days and, if it is granted, we will give
effect to it within the following 15 business days.
-
Depending on the case, the following will be deleted: the data of your
user account; the data of the organization; or the conversations,
messages, attachments and contact identifiers associated with you in
the platform.
Limits you should know about
Deletion is not always absolute or instantaneous. Your data will be
cancelled, blocked or deleted as legally applicable:
-
Backups are overwritten in cycles of up to 35 days, so
deleted data may persist in a backup until that cycle closes.
-
Certain information must be kept blocked because of
legal and tax obligations (for example, tax receipts for 5 years) or
for the defense of claims during the applicable limitation periods.
-
Data already held by the client company, the
channel provider (for example WhatsApp), the
payment processor or the other third parties indicated
in the Privacy Policy is governed by their own policies; we will tell
you whom to contact.
-
If you are a user of an organization of which you are not an
administrator, the records of the activity you carried out within it
(for example, which documents you created or approved) belong to that
organization and may be kept as part of its records.
Other rights
In addition to deletion, you may access your data, rectify it or object
to its processing, as well as withdraw your consent or limit the use and
disclosure of your information. The procedures are described in the
Privacy Policy.
